Romanian born Esthetician Christy Chis has left New York’s famed MB Salon after 20 years to join the Eau Spa in Palm Beach, Florida. Chis, who has been a practicing Esthetician in the U.S for 23 years, is celebrated by some of her most famous clients, including Heidi Clum and Naomi Campbell.

The veteran Esthetician, who studied in Romania prior to coming to the US to get her license, is known for being professionally versatile in her field. She believes that the reason she’s so good at what she does is because went through, “extensive training and education, studying anatomy, nutrition and biology before ever training with clients.”

Catherine Warren the Director of Leisure and Spa at Eau Palm Beach Resort, describes Chis as an amazing blessing, full of experience and energy. She believes that her reputation will help drive new business to what many consider a step-up from most spa’s, since it’s both “luxurious and beautiful.”

Chis’ esthetic methods already seem to be resonating so well with guests that many are already asking about specific do-it-yourself skin care techniques, which include facial movements that can help reduce wrinkles and dryness. Chis explains that doing just 15 minutes of the recommended facial movements before bed time, and another six minutes in the morning, is enough to improve skin elasticity and even reverse aging.

Chis says she feels right at home at Eau Palm Beach Resort, citing that her daughter being married at the resort several years ago was a wonderful experience and that when she was approached about the opportunity, it was too good to pass up. She further explained that the 42,000 square feet structure, with 19 treatment rooms and other beauty facilities, is the first spa where she feels she can truly achieve what she wants for her clients.
